Science Illustrations
My science illustrations make up a large portion of my art portfolio. With my illustrations, I like to blend mediums in order to achieve a desired texture and colour value. I found much of my passion for art in science illustration, so if you are interested in commissions please contact me and I can guarantee you work created from my heart.

The story behind the art

Above are a combination of works I created in high school and in university. Since I wanted to fuse creativity and originality with realism, none of the illustrations below are exact carbon copies of the photos I used for reference. Some of the illustrations depict creatures that don't even exist. Even the owl is a representative of that, since it's actually a combination of two different owl species; the great horned owl and the great grey owl. In some of the drawings, the morphologies of the creatures are entirely made up as well, as is the case for the "Godzilla" and the "Silent Spirit" pieces.
